Hitler rose to power in the early 1900's. He munipulated people with his voice. He used others to get what he wanted. He wanted to create any enemy so that he would have them people his side. So he had his people burn down the reg stag, were the legeslators met and blamed it on the communists. He finally had the people on his side. Then the president died and put himself in the postion were he had all of the power. He had his people form a group called the SS and the SA. They were the ones who controlled what happened to the Jews. But Hiltler was the crook.

This man seems sad and confused. His mother could not inform him on what was going on. All the family knew was that the man that hates them is the lead man in charge and a part ofthe government. Nov 10 Bobs biollogical father was arrested and sent to a concentration camp and somehow ended up in America. Tradically he died when Bob was on his way on a boat to see him. They were evicted because they didnot want Germans and Jews living under the same roof. The arians were new comers to the building. On night he heard music, bunch of Hitler youth in uniform he stood there wondering why he couldnt march with them, at that moment he really wanted to be a part of the youth group. He told his mom, and she said to him that he has not missed out on anything because she too wanted to be German.

I feel bad that Bob lost his father, but he is thankful that his dad was not killed in one of the concentration camps and was able top be freed and went to america.
Why would Bob want to be apart of This so called "Hitler Youth group."

Summary: She remembers the day of Krisstallnacht. She remambers the 45 min ride to school. When she get to school there were 2 SS guards. Some desks were in the yard. The sinagoge was burned. They were told to go home. Stood on the railroad said hi to her mother. Mother was terified. That was when she realised something bad had happened, but didnot no what it was. All the men in the Jewish familys should no go to the sinagoge. Outside world outside.

She was asked to leave her house by her fanily members so that nothing bad would happen to them and that they were told that they would be driven and place somewhere in Colon.
Her mother and sister and aunt stayed with her the whole time.
